Helping our children emotionally, physically and intellectually.

Boxing - Our organization partners with boxing gyms around the community, including Real Deal Boxing Club and Cincinnati Golden Gloves, to provide our champs with a safe place to go after school. The gyms have organized training programs that teach/encourage structure and discipline. A large majority of our kids choose not to ever step inside the ring. The self-confidence they gain from the training is simply enough.

Tutoring - If your child is struggling with schoolwork, it can negatively affect his/her everyday life. We offer a free tutoring program, "Kids Helping Kids".  Four days a week volunteer high school and college students provide one-on-one tutoring. Contact us today to get your child registered.

Nutrition - Today, it is estimated that one out of three kids is overweight; surprisingly, both overweight and underweight kids in America may be deemed as malnourished. A lack of proper food intake is known as malnutrition/malnourishment, and it does not only imply that there is a lack of food; moreover, malnutrition signifies a lack of nutrients. Fighting Chance offers hot, nutritious meals every night so that our boxers don't go to bed hungry.

Mentoring -  Studies have shown that mentoring has a positive and significant effect on the likelihood that a young person will avoid negative behaviors and participate successfully in school and community life. Fighting Chance is always seeking responsible and enthusiastic volunteers who have a desire to make a difference in a young person's life. If you are interested in learning more about becoming a mentor, please contact our office today.

Volunteering - We provide our champs with the opportunity to give back, thus increasing their sense of pride and self-esteem.  We are always looking for new and different ways to volunteer. Please contact our office if you are looking for youth volunteers.
